Hi all,

I'm brand new to the sport (and this forum!) and would appreciate some advice from experienced shots.

Once my license comes through, I'll be looking to purchase some lessons and a shotgun. From the advice I've taken from friends I already know that I want a 28-30" gun with multi-choke.
I've toured my local gunshops and consistently found that a Lanber or Franchi Harrier fit the bill perfectly.

I've also seen the odd second hand gun going for a similar price.

My question is - in your opinions, would I be better off with a brand new gun with warranty along the lines of Lanber or Franchi, or paying the same price for second hand Beretta or Miroku?
