Re: Greetings from across the pond

Hi Eaglesnester,

Shooting is very much alive and well in the UK – you may have seen news reports about the Glorious Twelfth (the opening day of the grouse shooting season which took place yesterday). It's a pretty traditional affair. Traditionally those opposed to shooting issue press releases, while those who are lucky enough go shooting!

Glad to have you on the forum — we always welcome input from around the world, so it's good to have you here.

It sounds to me as if you should head over to our rifles section of the website and have a read of the articles written by Bruce Potts for Shooting Times. He's very much a kindred spirit of yours. He spends much of his time reloading, the rest testing for tighter groups and the remainder writing it all up for us.

Good to hear from you.

Yours, Alastair.
