buying a dog not kc registered should i

i need help.a friend of mine has labradoor pupies for sale.
he's not a shooting man and has only breed her not to make a quick buck but to just breed her.
anyway the 5 generation shows a lot of FTCH and i mean a lot.
hips and eye test are very good and the guy who sold him his original bitch was some sort of breeded/ game keeper.
these pups are going cheap around the £150 mark.
is it worth buying a puppy thats not registered with the kc.
what do i gain or what do i loose
both parents on dam and sire side ftch,gt gradperents all ftch
what do i do please help
