Yep. Go ahead.
KC registration does not make a good dog so don't get too wrapped up in the KC label.
My 3 year old Sprollie (cross collie springer) is the best dog I have ever owned. Not a hint of a KC registration as she is a first cross. I got the best of all worlds here. She is a born sniffer who will run all day and loves the water.
Can't wait for her to bear pups. They won't be KC either but I'll bet they inherit the traits of her mother and the old springer dog that sired them.
