Hi all Thought I'd update you all after all the advice you kindly gave. Had a bit of a nightmare to be honest. It now appears after much time and effort that neither eye is really that dominant so am going with a RH gun from rigt shoulder. Next issue was that a standard 682 E gold stock (sporter) was too low for me. After many many further words of advice I began looking at a Miroku MK38 with a trap stock abd long teagues. Also looked at a 686. AT the point now where it's becoming chore as i'm on infomation overload!!!!!!! Anyway, I have looked at a <1 year old 682E gold with an adjustable stock which I think is what i'm going to end up getting by the end of the week. If anyone has any comments re: adjustable stocks I'd love to hear them. Got to start somewhere and I need to get some cartridges through a barrel. Thanks for you help. |

Just got it home. Really pleased. It's a RH 682 E Gold with adj stock 30" m/c. My dad popped over to take a look and after i stated DO NOT PULL THE TRIGGER he goes and pulls the dam thing (no cartridges obviously). Will that have caused any damage?. |

It`s very unlikely, they are very tough these guns, but dont do it too often as it can break the springs in the action. Get some brass snap caps and use all the time. Put them in and pull the trigger twice to fire both barrels. If it only fires once then switch over the barrel selector and pull again. ENJOY. |
