Hi, I would jut like a bit of advice on what dog is an ideal beginners dog or a good all rounder. Thanks

There is no ideal beginners dog. It depends on what you want from it. There are so many breeds out there that no one dog will cover all the bases.
I would strongly suggest you find your local gundog club and go along to one of their training nights. I would also suggest that you think about what sort of thing you want your dog to do or, indeed, if you have time to own one.
Owning and training ANY dog is not a 5 second job and you wont be able to use any dog untill they are 12-18 months old, for the well-being of the animal alone.
I'm afraid too many people get the idea into their heads that they like the image of man, dog and gun together, rush off and buy the 1st thing they see, then lose all interest because they dont have a clue about training or in fact owning a dog - who looks after it if your at work, when you go on holiday etc. The Breed Rescue services are full of such cases - people with all the gear and no idea.
Sorry to sound harsh, but do some research, think about it a lot, do some more research, ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS, ask your family, think about the cost (vets bills, insurance, food etc)then ASK YOURSELF.
Then, and only then, start doing your research on litters. My other half waited 5 YEARS to get the dog she wanted, with the pedigree she wanted.
Remember, a dog is reliant on you for its entire life. If you cant commit to that, then dont for the animal's sake, entertain the idea.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I have been doing a lot of research and am only 13 so i do not have a job. as i am a kid i have a lot of time to spend with. i am a kid so you know how i feel about dogs. thanks what else do you think is important

All of the above! OK, so your 13, what do your folks think about it? If your at school and they are at work, then the dog is on its own.
I am a firm believer that in the 1st few months of a dogs life, you almost have to spend every second with the dog to form a trusting bond between you both.
You need everyone's consent and aggreement before you go any further.
