Shooting Rights Suffolk
      #2719 - 02/03/2008 17:00

Hello, I am a very keen shot and love to get out as often as I can. Can anyone let me know the best way of getting rights in the Suffolk area?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

You need to do the hard way like everyone else (unless you want to pay for it). Get to know a local gamekeeper and offer to help him out. Do some beating and see what comes up in conversation. You could always offer your 'pest control services' to some farmers. I've had some success with pig farmers. Good luck.

Bang on every farmers door in the district and ask nicely, you will get about 10/12 no thanks to 1 yes. But it takes nerve. GOOD LUCK
