Of course it is. You also must have respect for your game. By respect I mean to be able to harvest (kill) the animal clean and not gut shoot, razerback, shoot off a leg, etc. To be able to undertake the skill of accurate and precise shooting you must practice, practice, practice. This involves time and money, you owe this to your targets. You must also learn what is a good shot and what is a poor one. Is the animal presenting or quartering away? You must also learn and follow all of your local laws and regulations and follow them to the letter. The above is called good hunting ethics. When you hunt it is no different than going down to the butcher shop and purchasing you roast, chops etc. Only difference is the meat you harvested is not full of hormones and chemicals. You folks sure have your share of antes and I guess it is a constant struggle for you to keep your hunting rights so it is even more important for everyone to undertake good sportsman like behavior in Britain.
