Benelli M2 - change magazine tube
      #2890 - 30/03/2008 13:59

Hi

I had a look at a Benelli M2 at the gunsmith yesterday. I was very impressed and would like to buy one. In the UK, if you have a Shotgun Certificate you can only buy a shotgun that will hold a maximum of two shells in the magazine. However with a Firearms Certificate the magazine capacity is unlimited. I currently hold a Shotgun Certificate and am unlikely to be able to change that to a Firearms Certificate for at least six months or so.

One question I have is about the possibility of changing the magazine tube. How easy would it be for a gunsmith to be able to change the magazine from 2+1 to a larger model when I get a Firearms Certificate?

Mike

Very easy, its a 20 minute job, but if you still have the gun under warranty you will need to send it back to GMK the Beretta importers as Benelli are now under the Beretta wing so to speak.
I have recently been shooting a Benelli super-sport and was very impressed indeed.
Good luck.
