escort or midland gun co?
      #3108 - 13/05/2008 16:49

i am interested in buying a cheap yet reliable semi auto shotgun

i have heard nothing but good things about the hatsan escort and its reliability

i did however notice that the midland gun co made a semi auto shotgun for roughly the same price

has anyone had any experience of either of these guns?

would anyone recomend one over the other?

thanks for any help!

This has been asked before.

Look here: http://forums.shootinguk.co.uk/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/2473/an/0/page/0#2473

For my money...the Hatsan.

Forget it. Buy an old Beretta 303,301, Remington 1100,Browning B80, They will still outlast those two.
Or buy a Lanber sporter s/hand, o/u, m/c, fantastic value for money.

i have a lanber sporter s/hand, o/u, m/c.......

im selling it

due to 30" barrels which i think are too long for my small stature and i enjoy shooting a shorter barreled gun

only really want a gun to feed lots of cartridges through and not worry about its welfare

thank you for all replies!

That`s interesting aswell as I have been giving a 5ft 1 inch lady lessons and she has been on about her 30 inch barrels being to long. I`v managed to get her to stick with the gun because it fits her. Now she`s winning competitions and she`s just won the womans S.W. sport-trap, she`s only been shooting for 22 months. She now loves her gun of course.
