Autoloaders Across the Pond
      #3165 - 21/05/2008 00:54

I shoot in the US where autoloaders are quite common. I'm curious how prevalent they're use is in the UK. You might like to check out a new prototype for autoloader shooters thats not yet on the market at the website below. Is something like this of any interest in the UK/Europe?? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Looks very interesting to me, one of the man reasons I had not been considering a semi automatic gun was because of the anti social issue of having spent shells flying everywhere.

Yes, autoloaders (or semi automatics as most people call them here) are popular but I am not sure that it is at the same level as the US. Most people shoot CLAYS with Over and Unders (I would guess about 80% from what I have seen), with about 18% semi autos and 2% side by sides. The vast majority of semis I see being used are Beretta but there are plenty of others too.

Given the size of the country there is a huge gun market here so I am sure that if you could get the multicatch over here, it would sell.

Good Luck
