What are the requirements for shooting shotgun on moorland?

What are the rules/requirements for shotgun shooting?

I would like to know the requirements you need to have a shoot on moorland. I need to know the requirement for flags, safe distances etc.

If anyone can help or point me to a website with the information I would be grateful
