hi i was wondering if any could help i have an 18 month lab he is an excellant working dog but at the moment he is ignoreing my commands and also when he is receiving his dummies he will go to get one and then also try to bring back the second one at the same time can any one help me over come this problem many thanks tim

Sorry to tell you - but he's not an excellant working dog if he's ignoring your commands:( Go back to basics and work up - it won't take to long, youv'e just got to get him obeying.

John Halstead Jnr once told me that the second your dog ignores any command from you, drop everything you are doing (if shooting unload) and get out to the dog. Blow the whistle in his face - He'll know he's done wrong. Walk him back at heel and try again. If he gets away with ignoring your command it will only compound the problem
