I have just seen a shoot advertising in north wales for 200 bird days. The shoot is on the Bodnant estate north wales. If anyone is thinking about taking a day there please be careful. We took a day there a few years ago and had a great day the gamekeeper and host made the day a joy and the shooting was first class. We returned there last year and it was an absolute disgrace. The whole set up was a disgrace from start to finish. The gamekeeper and host had changed and it was so unprofessionally run. The way the birds where driven from such good ground was very confusing to say the least. This shoot is charging a lot of money and promising great things. Its a shambles! Be warned!

hi, i'm a little surprised at your comments ... i've been taking my group shooting on the bodnant estate for the past 3 years (at least twice a year). We have always experienced a great day out and were more than happy with their facilities and the professional manner in which everything was conducted. We will be travelling there again this november and are greatly looking forward to a wonderful days shooting.
