hi all, i'm new to shooting (in terms of me actually shooting) however i grew up with my dad going shooting until just after my brother was born (18years ago.) I'm really enjoying clay shooting on a skeet range at the mo but having got my dad back into shooting again would like to eventually take this onto game shooting with my him. It has been suggested that for me to learn the etiquette around shooting and pick up hints and tips i should do a few seasons beating whilst getting more practice in on clays. I live in Doncaster and know that there are plenty of shoots in the area, my problem is actually tracking them down as they seem to keep themselves well hidden and endless amounts of googling has been fruitless. I would be greatful if anyone could tell me how i would go about getting into beating and contact details for any of the shoots in and around Doncaster. Have car, will travel.

you need to have a look at the Nobs site (I think it's about a fiver to join
Alternatively have a look at pubs - pickers up and beaters - this site is free
google them both
