Also looking at the times inn at houghton

Any reviews or help would be great, and this may be a silly question but why do most only seem to be on Sunday mornings

Hi deano3 not sure if you have found anywhere as yet. I use a clay ground just outside of Spennymoor about 20 mins from you they shoot on a Wednesday night (floodlit in winter) and a Sunday morning they also have a coach onsite should you want a few lessons.

Had a look to Hardwick on Sunday.
http://www.hardwickclays.co.uk/ Prices are now 13 for 50 sporting (unsure of cartridge prices as we took our own)

Haven't been there for a few years and...............
The same pleasant husband/wife team run the shoot.
They now have mostly electric traps and a few manual ones.
    The trappers looked freezing
Turn out wasn't huge so you could always find a stand vacant or with just 2 or 3 people shooting.
Small friendly shoot in the NE (Co.Durham)
