    Shotgun Cert Question

    Hi All,
I've recently attended a few clay shooting days and have been bitten by the bug so would really like to apply for my shotgun cert in order to posess my own gun. I'm aware that you have to declare any health/mental health conditions when applying does anyone have any info/ exprience with this in regard of Bi Polar. Any info really appreciated !

    Thanks

    Re: Shotgun Cert Question

I'm not an expert by any means, but it may be worth speaking to either your GP or local firearms department (or both.) The police will speak to you GP before issuing so they'll be able to say if it would preclude you from having a certificate.
    Fingers crossed for you!
