    Open licences?

    Guys,

Can someone explain a general licence to me. Do I need to be a BASC member to qualify, do I need a permit etc.?

    Regards,
    Tom

Not sure what you mean by the title but I suspect that this might help you

Thanks, some call them general licences, others open licences, and other open general licences..... a bit of confusion here for me....

    Re: Open licences?

The up shot is if species listed in the licence can't be controlled by NON LETHAL means (shouting, clapping hands, firing in the air etc)
Then and only then you can shoot to kill for the purpose of crop protection/disease control.
