End of Season

Well here we are another one almost done and dusted. I couldn't make morning flight but I will be out this afternoon for a tide/evening flight. Don't expect to see a lot this late in the season but just can't resist the chance. Is anybody else out to salute the season's end?

Haha! Funny how it gets like a ghost town on here isn't it. Needs looking into that I think.
Might put a post up for people to post their ideas on it, good or bad.

I managed to get out for the final morning as you say didn't expect much but i was treated to a sight i've no seen enough of this year GEESE!!! and plenty of them but sod's law they were all too far away or too high so i just sat and watched also a little egret which acording to the rspb web sight should't be this far north

We saw a few widgeon but all very shy and moving up and down the middle of he river as the tide pushed. Been a bit of a strange season down here in the West but in a strange way I've enjoyed the challenge and can't wait for next season already.
