Armed Forces and Emergeny Services League Event
The first fixture of the season is at Podimore tomorrow and will see teams from the Navy, Army, RAF, Police, Fire and Prison Services competing over a 100 Sporting layout. Rumours are that it may be a FITASC layout.
.
This will be the first of these that I have competed in so looking forward to it. The weather forcast is not looking good but no sign of it being cancelled. May be taking my wellies and barbour just in case! I'll let you all know how I get on tomorrow evening!

Defo wellies down there mate.
Paul can put on some awesome targets, he's excellent at setting up a course. But you'll enjoy it if it's not too wet.
Good Luck.

Well it was a great day and event with the Police team coming out on top with the Army a close second. High gun for the day was tied on 92 with the shooter from the Fire Bde winning the shoot off. I was really pleased with my score of 65 on a very testing course that had a bit of everything!
.
Looking forward to round 2 at Kibworth (Leics) this Wednesday!
.
Really pushing to be in the 70s on the next shoot!

Well round 2 was also won by the Police but with a smaller gap to the Army in second place! Only 22 targets between the top 10 shooters from each team!
.
The high gun of 93 went to the RAF.
.
I shot a 70 on a day that caught a lot of people out! The scores are going in the right direction!

Obviously the Navy with the Royal Marines once again were far to busy defending our green and pleasant land. ;-)
