Thought I'd update you all after all the advice you kindly gave. Had a bit of a nightmare to be honest. It now appears after much time and effort that neither eye is really that dominant so am going with a RH gun from rigt shoulder.
Next issue was that a standard 682 E gold stock (sporter) was too low for me. After many many further words of advice I began looking at a Miroku MK38 with a trap stock abd long teagues. Also looked at a 686.
AT the point now where it's becoming chore as i'm on infomation overload!!!!!!!
Anyway, I have looked at a <1 year old 682E gold with an adjustable stock which I think is what i'm going to end up getting by the end of the week. If anyone has any comments re: adjustable stocks I'd love to hear them.
Got to start somewhere and I need to get some cartridges through a barrel.
