Morning all,
I just thought that I would add my opinion to this thread... While I commend the work of PuBS, and for that matter NOBs, in getting people out there into the shooting field, I'm afraid the ShootingUK forum is not a place for suspicion, personal attacks, jibes, insults or innuendo.
As regular users will know, we keep it light and helpful on this forum — if you've got a shooting-related question to ask or a discussion to start, this is the place to do it. We aren't here to provide a place for individuals to have a hack at each other.
Nick, I sympathise with you over hostility you have faced from users of forums elsewhere, but my view is that fighting fire with fire is not the answer, so I find gioyc really very confrontational. I don't believe that, as you say elsewhere, "Shooting uk is the latest forum for personal attacks on me", I simply think that other people here disagree with your approach.
I just wanted to remind you all that we're a friendly forum — we won't tolerate the sort of posts and the tone seen elsewhere.
Yours, Alastair.
